Ø  Students are able to understand about the picture

Ø  Students are able to define simple present tense in a sentence

Ø  Students are able to make sentence using simple present tense

Ø  Student are able to describe the picture and write the sentence and write the sentence using good grammar

Steps   :

Teacher

1.         Teacher introduces the topic to students

2.         Teacher gives explanation about the topic

3.         Teacher asks to the student to make a group consist of two students

4.         Teacher gives task to the students about dialy activities  using simple present

5.         Teacher give feedback and reflection related to material

6.         Teacher using cartoon picture media to make the material more interesting

Students

1.      Students pay attention to the teacher’s explanation

2.      Students make a group consist of two students

3.      Students do the task based on the topic and using good grammar

4.      Students submit the task.

Grammar (Simple present) for Junior High School using cartoon

Simple present is the basis for every student in Junior High School to learn English, so if the student mastered the simple present it will be easier for them when studying English more. Simple present is used to talk about the activities that we do on a regular basis (regular) for example: wake up, go to school, breakfast, doing homework and other regular activities. because that is very important mastered simple present before proceeding to learn English to the next level. Here's the formula present tense :

          Keep in mind to subject HE, SHE, IT, and NAME OF PERSON, we use the suffix S, ES, or even IES, based on the verb is in use. REMEMBER suffix S, ES, or even IES is used only in a positive sentence. if the sentence is negative and interrogative sentence we use DOES eliminating the need to use S, ES, or even IES.

Here I give examples of conversations that use the present simple sentence:

Media cartoons can also be used to teach all materials related to grammar. But the picture above is an example of media using cartoons to teach one part of grammar which is tenses (Simple present tense).
